  • Japanese: 由良の湊 (yura no minato)

Yura no minato ("The Port at Yura") is a kusemai dance with accompanying narrative later adapted by the Yamato sarugaku actor & playwright Kan'ami.

It tells the story of a woman who abandons her unfaithful husband and sets out on the road, where she encounters a man who tricks her and sells her into prostitution. The story ends with her at a brothel in Kakegawa (in modern-day Shizuoka prefecture), lamenting her fate.
