The Kidai shôran is a handscroll painting in the collection of the Berlin Museum of Asian Art depicting a busy Edo road extending from Nihonbashi to Kanda Imagawabashi. The painting, depicting numerous homes and shops, and over 1600 people, in great detail, is a valuable resource for visualizing and understanding the commercial streets of early 19th century Edo.
