Dôjô-ji is a [[Zen]] temple in the Shakujii neighborhood of northwestern Tokyo, constructed in [[1372]] by [[Toshima Terutoki]], adoptive son of [[Toshima Kagemura]], then lord of [[Shakujii castle|Shakujii]].
The family temple of the [[Toshima clan]], it is the site of the graves of numerous lords and other important members of the clan, including [[Toshima Yasutsune]], lord of Shakujii at the time of its fall to [[Ota Dokan|Ôta Dôkan]] in [[1477]].
