Yoritaka was at first a retainer of the [[Toki clan|Toki]] of [[Mino province]]. He joined the usurpers of the Toki house, the [[Saito clan|Saitô]], then left them in turn for [[Oda Nobunaga]]. After Nobunaga's death, he went on to serve [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi]]. He died without an heir and so his family became extinct.
