Emperor Tsuchimikado was an emperor of the Kamakura period, reigning from 1198 to 1210.

He took the throne in 1198 after the abdication of his father, Emperor Go-Toba. Tsuchimikado then abdicated, in turn, in 1210; his brother then took the throne as Emperor Juntoku.

Retired Emperor Tsuchimikado was exiled to Tosa province in 1221, following the defeat of Go-Toba's rebellion in the Jôkyû Disturbance. Go-Toba was exiled to the Oki Islands, and Juntoku to Sado Island.
