Ômine Seikan was a prominent ''[[yoga|yôga]]'' (Western-style) painter of prewar and post-war [[Okinawa prefecture|Okinawa]]. He is known for his many paintings of traditional Okinawan town/village scenes featuring terracotta red-tiled roofed homes.
Ômine served for a time as head of the ''Okinawa mingei kyôkai'' (Okinawa Folk Crafts Association).
