Arimura Yûsuke was a [[Kagoshima han|Kagoshima domain]] retainer (and later [[ronin]]) who played a part in plotting the [[1860]] assassination of [[Ii Naosuke]] ([[Incident at Sakuradamon]]) and other violent political actions.
Yûsuke committed suicide in Kagoshima on 1860/3/24. He was later posthumously granted the Junior Fourth [[court rank]].
