Rev. Fr. Mathieu Adnet was a French missionary associated with the Paris Foreign Mission Society who resided in [[Ryukyu Kingdom|Ryûkyû]] from [[1846]]/8 until his death on [[1848]]/6/1.
Adnet arrived in Ryûkyû aboard the French ship ''[[Sabine]]'' or ''[[Alcmene]]''. He remained there until his death, and was buried in the [[Tomari International Cemetery]].
