* Shogun [[Tokugawa Ietsuna|Ietsuna]] ordered 4 [[Hatamoto]] to form firefighter units "Jô Bikeshi" (定火消し) after [[Great Meireki Fire]] in [[1657]]. They set fire stations in Iidabashi, Ichigaya, Ochanomizu, and Koujimachi.
