He was named to the ''gan-no-ma'' of [[Edo castle#Omote|Edo castle]] in [[1761]], and appointed [[Kyoto shoshidai]] that same year. In [[1764]], he became one of the ''[[roju|rôjû]]''.

He was appointed [[Kyoto shoshidai]] in [[1760]]/12, and was named to the ''gan-no-ma'' of [[Edo castle#Omote|Edo castle]] the following month ([[1761]]/1). In [[1764]], he became one of the ''[[roju|rôjû]]''.
