The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum is an art museum located in the Shirokanedai/Meguro area of Tokyo. It was established in 1983, taking over a building and extensive gardens originally built in 1933 as the residence of Imperial Prince Asaka. The building was later used as an official residence for [[Prime Minister]]s and as an official state guesthouse before being turned over to become an art museum.
