Ikezaki Tadataka was a ''[[waka]]'' poet, literary critic, and politician of the Taishô and early Shôwa periods.
Born in [[Okayama prefecture]] in [[1891]], he went on to study under [[Natsume Soseki|Natsume Sôseki]], and is known as the author of the first biography of Sôseki.
