Shô Teiyoku was a Ryukyuan scholar-bureaucrat who served as shisan on the 1790 Ryukyuan embassy to Edo.

He was of some distant relation to Prince Shô Kô (d. 1610), and while in Japan in 1790 dedicated a pair of wooden plaques, bearing a poetic couple in Idoyama's own calligraphy, to the temple of Seiken-ji, where the Prince is buried. They remain in the temple's collection today.
