*''Japanese'': 町入用 ''(chou iri you)''

''Chô-iriyô'' were financial ledgers kept in the [[Edo period]] by a variety of administrative associations, recording the revenues and expenditures of a town, district within a city, or similar political/geographic division.

Such ledgers were maintained by groups such as ''kyôdôtai'' and ''kyôdô soshiki'', made up of commoner administrators local to that town or district. In the case of village ledgers, they were known as ''mura-iriyô''.

The ledgers recorded a variety of costs and revenues of administration, production and consumption, financial burdens and distributed allotments.
