*''Japanese'': 吉祥天 ''(kichijouten)''
Kichijôten is a Japanese Buddhist deity, usually depicted in the form of a Chinese noblewoman. Developing out of Chinese and Korean versions of an Indian deity, she was a particularly popular object of worship in the [[Nara period]], and is particularly associated with good harvests, and New Year's prayers for good fortune in general.
