Ijûin Tadaaki was a ''[[karo|karô]]'' and chief military strategist for the [[Shimazu clan]] in the 16th century.
The son of [[Ijuin Tadakimi]], he fought alongside [[Shimazu Tadayoshi]] and [[Shimazu Takahisa]] in battles for the Shimazu clan succession. Tadaaki took part in the [[1539]] [[battle of Murasakibaru]], as well as battles against the [[Honda clan|Honda]] and [[Ichirai clan]]s, and aided [[Shimazu Yoshihisa]] in the [[1554]] [[siege of Iwatsurugi]].
Tadaaki's son, grandson, and great-grandson all served as Shimazu ''karô'' after him.
