Taga Shrine is a [[Shinto shrine]] in [[Shiga prefecture]], dedicated to a ''[[kami]]'' of long life.
A branch shrine located in [[Kagoshima]] enshrines the spirit of [[Shimazu Yoshihisa]] as an avatar of that same ''kami'' deity; Tagayama Park, the former site of [[Tofukuji castle|Tôfukuji castle]], and home to a second grave of Admiral [[Togo Heihachiro|Tôgô Heihachirô]], takes its name from this shrine.
