It's addressed in the final section-that the general form of Shinto (Jinja Shinto) is different than State Shinto, Folk Shinto, etc (which, while sharing many of Jinja Shinto's points and practices, have important differences). At some point, I was going to add entries for these. Probably the last paragraph needs to go at the beginning to make this clear (remember, I basically just cut and pasted my general 'sticky' topic from the forum). Yes, I know Jinja Shinto means 'Shinto Shrine Shinto'-it's used here in the US to differentiate those shrines that are registered with the Jinja Honcho association from the other forms (and I couldn't come up with a less awkward term).
At any rate, if you think it's better served by being simply 'Shinto' feel free to move it. I don't think the PC Kami would be angry.
