''Jinen koji'' is a [[Noh]] play of the fourth category, performed in all five major schools of Noh; a ''genzai Noh'', it takes place in the 14th century present, rather than being a historical piece.

In the play, a teacher gives a sermon at Ungo-ji in Kyoto. He learns of a girl who gave away her kimono as alms, and who sold herself to slavers in memory of her late parents. He then stops his sermon and travels to [[Otsu|Ôtsu]], where he finds the slavers, and rescues the girl. In some versions of the play, the enslaved girl is instead a boy.
