Naitô Nobuteru was the son of [[Naito Nobumasa|Naitô Nobumasa]], and first [[Edo period]] [[Naito clan|Naitô clan]] ''daimyô'' of [[Tanagura han]] in [[Mutsu province]].
Born in [[1592]], he became lord of Tanagura in [[1627]], with a ''[[kokudaka]]'' of 50,000 ''[[koku]]''. He was known for his interest in [[tea ceremony]] and devotion to the ''[[nenbutsu]]''.
