The Order of Kamehameha I was a national decoration awarded by the [[Kingdom of Hawaii|Kingdom of Hawaiʻi]].
On March 15, [[1881]], during King [[Kalakaua|Kalākaua's]] visit to Japan, he bestowed the Order upon the [[Meiji Emperor]], and upon [[Price Arisugawa|Princes Arisugawa]], [[Prince Fushimi|Fushimi]], [[Prince Higashifushimi Yoshiaki|Higashifushimi Yoshiaki]], and [[Prince Kitashirakawa|Kitashirakawa]].
