Kawagoe castle is located in Kawagoe city. The castle was built in [[1457]] by [[Uesugi Mochitomo]].

Kawagoe castle is located in Kawagoe city. The castle was constructed by [[Ota Doshin|Ôta Dôshin]] and [[Ota Dokan|Ôta Dôkan]].

In 1457, Uesugi Mochitomo moved to Kawagoe castle from Senpa.

 

There were 16 buildings in the late Edo period but most were demolished in Meiji period and only a part of the [[Honmaru]] remains today.
