Nobuyasu was the son of [[Takeda Nobukatsu]]. He expanded the power of the [[Takeda clan (Kazusa)|Takeda clan]] on the [[Boso Peninsula]] and around [[1525]] took [[Oyumi castle]] in [[Shimosa province|Shimôsa province]], which he gave to [[Ashikaga Yoshiaki]]. After his death a civil war erupted between his sons Nobutaka and Nobumasa that greatly weakened the Takeda.
