Raishô was a noted strategist of the [[Kaga province|Kaga]] [[ikko]]. In [[1574]] he led troops in support of the [[Echizen province|Echizen]] [[ikko]] in their uprising and was present for the defeat and destruction of [[Asakura Kageakira]]. He was defeated and killed the following year by [[Oda clan|Oda]] troops.
