Shibusawa Keizo

Jump to navigationJump to searchShibusawa Keizô was a prominent businessman and financial official of the immediate postwar period.
A grandson of Shibusawa Eiichi, he inherited the title of shishaku (viscount). He served in the House of Councillors and simultaneously as Minister of Finance (Ôkura daijin) in 1945-1946. He also served for a time as the head of the Bank of Japan.
In 1934, he established a private collection known as Saigyodô bunko, today held by Kanagawa University.[1]
