Itaya Keishu

Jump to navigationJump to searchItaya Keishû was an official court painter to the Tokugawa shogunate, and served as paintings authenticator for the shogunate as well. He was the head of the Itaya school of painters, a branch group working in the style of the Sumiyoshi school.
