Yonaha peechin was a member of the [[Ryukyu Kingdom|Ryukyuan]] [[Scholar-aristocracy of Ryukyu|scholar-bureaucracy]]. He traveled to [[Kyoto]] in [[1634]] as part of the [[Ryukyuan embassies to Edo|Ryukyuan embassy]] of that year.
