Wakasa no Tsubone was a daughter of [[Hiki Yoshikazu]], wife of Shogun [[Minamoto no Yoriie]], and mother to [[Minamoto Ichiman]] and [[Take no gozen]].
She was killed in [[1203]] as the [[Hojo clan|Hôjô clan]] launched a series of attacks on her family, the [[Hiki clan]]. Her father Yoshikazu and son Ichiman were killed in the same attacks; her daughter Take no gozen survived and went on to marry shogun [[Kujo Yoritsune|Kujô Yoritsune]].
