I reverted the "she did it out of love" section as unverified and unverifiable. There are numerous theories that one could come up with as to why Oichi would give up and stay in the castle to die. Unless all theories will be explored, or a source is cited, I will leave that information out. --Kitsuno 16:11, 5 November 2006 (PST)
