Wasn't it Izumo province or Iyo province?
If it meant present Izu 伊豆 the province should be Suruga province or Totomi province.
If it meant present Izu 伊豆 the province should be Suruga province or Totomi province.
:As far as I know, it was the province invaded by hojo soun in 1493 or so, which heralded in the sengoku period. During the Sengoku anyway, it was a seperate, if small, province --[[User:Shogun|Kitsuno]] 23:03, 21 September 2006 (PDT)
