Mizuno Tadayuki was lord of Okazaki castle. He was named wakadoshiyori on 1711/12/23, becoming one of the rôjû six years later, on 1717/9/27. He also served as Kyoto shoshidai, from 1714/9/6 until becoming rôjû. In 1722/5, he was named katte-gakari rôjû, a top-level position overseeing financial matters for the shogunate.[1]
