A komabue on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Japanese: 高麗笛 (komabue)

The komabue is a type of transverse flute used in komagaku, the Korean-derived style of gagaku. Unlike the nôkan and ryûteki which have seven fingerholes, the komabue has six.
