Hosokawa Morishige

Marquis Hosokawa Morishige was considered the 15th head of the Hosokawa clan (counting from the beginning of the Edo period).

A son of Hosokawa Morihisa, he traveled to Paris at age 20 and remained there for eight years, studying law and science.
