Gija Joseon

Korean: 箕子朝鮮 (Gija Joseon, Kija Chosŏn)

According to legend, Gija Joseon was the first state established in the Korean peninsula. It was said to be founded by Gija (C: Qizi or Jizi), a legendary prince of the Chinese Shang (Yin) dynasty, who fled to the Korean peninsula after the fall of Yin.
