- Chûzan enters into diplomatic relations with Goryeo (Korea).
- Ming Dynasty China informs Korea that the Ssanggyeong region, controlled up until recently by the Mongol Empire (and thus by the Yuan Dynasty of China), is Ming territory. A military conflict results which ends in the fall of Goryeo and the establishment of the Joseon Dynasty in 1392.
