*[[Ming Dynasty]] China informs Korea that the Ssanggyeong region, controlled up until recently by the [[Mongol Empire]] (and thus by the [[Yuan Dynasty]] of China), is Ming territory. A military conflict results which ends in the fall of Goryeo and the establishment of the [[Joseon Dynasty]] in [[1392]].
