Yagyu Munenori

Yagyu Munenori served for Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu with his father Yagyu Muneyoshi and participated in the Battle of Sekigahara. 1601, Munenori became the Kenjutsu teacher for the 2nd Tokugawa Shogun Hidetada, he also served for the 3rd Tokugawa Shogun Iemitsu and received 12500 Koku territory in Yamato province.(Yagyu han)
Munenori was the only sword master who became Daimyo only with the Kenjutsu skill.
