Nobumasu was a younger brother of [[Oda Nobunaga]] and a well-known tea-master. He entered the service of [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi|Hideyoshi]] following Nobunaga's death and he later supported [[Tokugawa Ieyasu]] during the [[Sekigahara Campaign]] ([[1600]]). He joined the defenders of [[Osaka castle]] in [[1614]], though he survived the siege and retired from active life. He was also known as Oda Yuraku, or Oda Yurakusai.
