Aiura Nagato was a vassal of [[Uesugi Kenshin]]. After Kenshin returned to [[Echigo province]] in 1577, Nagato defended [[Fuki castle]] in [[Noto province]], however was forced to commit suicide when the [[Hatakeyama clan]] attacked it during the 5th month of the same year.
