Ôta Sukemoto was a [[Bakumatsu]] period lord of [[Kakegawa han]]. He served the [[Tokugawa shogunate]] as ''[[Kyoto shoshidai]]'' from [[1831]] to [[1834]], as ''[[Jisha bugyo|Jisha bugyô]]'' in the early 1850s, and as a member of the ''[[roju|rôjû]]'' from [[1858]] to [[1859]].
