''Ehon shibai nenjû kagami'' is a woodblock-printed book illustrated by [[Utagawa Toyokuni]] and published in [[1803]] which illustrates numerous backstage aspects of the [[kabuki]] theatre, including stage tricks such as how quick-changes were done, how ghosts and skeletons were portrayed, and so forth.
