King Seonjo (or Sŏnjo) was king of [[Joseon]] Korea from [[1567]] until his death in [[1608]]. His reign saw both the [[Korean Invasions|invasions of Korea]] by [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi]] and the restoration of relations with the [[Tokugawa shogunate]] beginning in [[1607]].
Seonjo succeeded [[King Myeongjong]] to the throne in 1567, and was succeeded in turn by his son, [[Prince Gwanghae]].
