Mitsuyori, a native of [[Mino province]], first served [[Takeda Nobutora]] and later [[Takeda Shingen]] under [[Itagaki Nobutaka]]. He acted as a captain of infantry and is said to have fought in 29 battles in this capacity, including [[Battle of Sezawa|Sezawa]] ([[1542]]) and [[Battle of Uehara|Uehara]] (1542). He was known for his skills at night warfare, which Shingen put to good use at Sezawa. He died of illness in 1563.
