Xú Guāngqǐ was a late [[Ming Dynasty]] scholar known for his writings on agronomy, administration, and calendrics. He studied Western science under [[Matteo Ricci]], and formally converted to [[Christianity]].

His ''Nóngzhèng quánshū'' (農政全書, "Complete Writings on Agricultural Administration") was used by [[Edo period]] scholar [[Miyazaki Yasusada]] as the basis for Miyazaki's ''Nôgyô zensho'' (農業全書, "Complete Writings on Agriculture").
