Nishiyama Suishô was a ''[[Nihonga]]'' painter of the early 20th century. A student of [[Takeuchi Seiho|Takeuchi Seihô]], he trained a number of students, including [[Nakamura Daizaburo|Nakamura Daizaburô]], in turn. A number of Nishiyama's paintings were shown in the official national-level Ministry of Education Exhibitions (''[[Bunten]]''), and Japan Art Academy Exhibitions (''[[Inten]]'').
