Aragaki Eisaburô was a noted [[Ryukyuan pottery|Okinawan potter]].
The eldest son of potter [[Aragaki Eitoku]], he was exposed to the arts of pottery from a very young age. He studied under [[Hamada Shoji|Hamada Shôji]] and [[Kawai Kanjiro|Kawai Kanjirô]], as well as under his father, and in 1963 joined the faculty of the [[University of the Ryukyus]] as an arts instructor.
