*''Japanese'': 寿老人 ''(juroujin)''

Jurôjin is one of the [[Seven Lucky Gods]] of traditional Japanese belief. Derived from a Chinese mythological figure or deity, Jurôjin is said to possess a medicine or herb which prevents one from ever growing old or dying. Prayers directed to Jurôjin thus often involve wishes for good health or long life.
