Emperor Momozono was an [[emperor]] of the mid-[[Edo period]].
He took the throne in [[1747]] following the abdication of his father [[Emperor Sakuramachi]]. Momozono then abdicated in [[1762]], and was succeeded by his sister, who took the throne as [[Empress Go-Sakuramachi]].
