Wakasaya Yoichi was an [[Edo]]-based publisher, also known by his shop name, Jakurindô.
Wakasaya held the printing & distribution rights to [[Morishima Churyo|Morishima Chûryô's]] ''[[Ryukyu-banashi|Ryûkyû-banashi]]'' for a time, as well as publishing the [[1850]] ''[[Ryukyu kaigo|Ryûkyû kaigo]]'', the ''Chûzan-koku shiryaku'', the ''Ryûkyû onsha shiryaku'', and an 1850 edition of the ''Ryûkyûjin gyôretsu tsuki'', along with numerous works unrelated to [[Ryukyu Kingdom|Ryûkyû]].
