Gusukuma ''ueekata'' was a member of the [[Ryukyu Kingdom|Ryukyuan]] [[Scholar-aristocracy of Ryukyu|scholar-aristocracy]]. He traveled to [[Kyoto]] in [[1634]] as assistant to Prince [[Kin Chotei|Kin Chôtei]], deputy head of the [[Ryukyuan embassy to Edo|Ryukyuan embassy]] of that year.
In [[1637]], he was named administrator of Gusukuma ''[[magiri]]''.
